Biography
Hello and Welcome!

I love photography and I love the fact that God allows me to glorify Him through photography. As of 2013, I have been taking photographs for about six years. How did it all begin? Well, my father and I, along with six other men, took a week long excursion to the British Virgin Islands. I was overwhelmed with the beauty that surrounded me. I had brought a small 5 megapixel kodak camera to get some snapshots. But instead of taking mindless snapshots, I found myself taking pictures of everything and trying to be as frame conscious as possible. I immersed myself in photography and loved every bit of it.  Every morning I would wake up, crawl out of the bow room (a tiny bedroom in the front of the boat with a hatch for a door above) and take in the beauty of the blue water and the dispersed islands that were all around. Needless to say, I can’t wait to go back. Upon returning home on American soil I had made up my mind, I wanted to take up photography as a profession. When Christmas arrived, my dear parents had gotten me a better camera: A Nikon Coolpix L100. A 10.1 megapixel, better in every way camera. After that point it was non-stop for a couple years. Then, my brother offered me his Nikon D3000 for a great price and I couldn’t let that chance go by. Soon after, my mother helped me start my own small business. Senior portraits, engagement photo shoots, family photos, dance company photo shoots, and this past summer I was the camp photographer at Alpine Camp For Boys in Mentone, Alabama. God has been very good to have kept me going. As of now, I am twenty years old and I’m majoring in photography at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. I’m loving every second of it and God has blessed me with the chance to be in school for doing what I love.
